The Crew of the Dolphin We used this book as a read aloud and everybody loved it. We couldn’t stop with just one chapter a night, we had to read more. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Full of Adventure This book is full of adventure with the sovereignty of God woven throughout every page. My favorite part shows the faith of a small child holding on to the promise that God controls everything, holds the sea in His hand, and it is better to be in the presence of God than on this earth. It is a very great story that is hard to put down!

Adventure On The High Seas This is going into my read aloud collection. Plenty of drama and a dash of intrigue. I also enjoyed been taken back in time to early sea faring days when conditions were less then desirable, with the barest lines of communication and hardship on families without compensation.

A Fine Book A fine story – a real page-turner! It teaches two lessons: (1) It shows how our decisions may affect others; (2) It shows that what is truly valuable in life may not be what the world values.
The only reason I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is that the author “telegraphs” what is about to happen in the story. Also the graphic descriptions of the dead bodies may be a bit much.
