From Crisis to Christlikeness
We are excited to present our newest series, Character in Crisis.
Character in Crisis is designed to help readers and listeners face the challenges in today’s culture with confidence.
Tackling topics on parenting, marriage, sibling rivalry, dating, career preparation, addiction, suffering, identity, character development, technology/media manipulation, and literature reviews – Character in Crisis has it all!
In these creative vignettes you’ll discover insights from the Scriptures and compelling dramas as the characters rise out of crisis and into Christlikeness.
Tip Lewis and His Lamp
We’re super excited to kick things off this year with another Character in Crisis series, featuring Lamplighter’s current favorite story: Tip Lewis and His Lamp! Upon reading this powerful book we knew that it would be perfect for our Character in Crisis series. Tip’s, honesty, integrity, and character inspired us not because he was somehow “perfect” but because his struggles were genuine and his responses sincere. He fell, stumbled, and messed up just like the rest of us. Yet, as Mr. Holbrook teaches him, “There is no path so dark that your lamp won’t light you through.”
Sir Malcolm and the Missing Prince
Inside the castle, a battle rages in the heart of a widowed king. Prince Hubert has proven to be an unworthy heir, but a bold intervention by the king’s most trusted knight could prove to be the cure. In the remote lands of this vast kingdom, far from the walls of the palace, Hugh will learn that the requirement of kingship is servanthood. Journey along with our young hero as he discovers the tools to Christlike character through the biggest crisis of his life!
