A ‘Strordinary Little Maid Amy Le Feuvre does it again in this delightful little book. Your whole family will be blessed and encouraged to share with others the good news that their hearts can be healed and “made happy”. Our little maid also shows us how to be happy in our life and circumstances by asking the Lord for help, and working willingly.

Great Story I listened to A ‘Strordinary Little Maid on the radio while driving in my car and missed some parts of it. I wanted to let my granddaughter and my wife hear it so I ordered it for a Christmas gift. I personally will love sitting down with my granddaughter and listening to this again. Hopefully, we’ll enjoy it many times over the years. It’s a wonderful story that is performed marvelously.

Highly Recommended I heard the story in drama form on the radio and loved it!!! I bought the book for my friend’s daughter expecting it to truly touch her heart. I did not read the book (yet) but if it follows the drama presentation, it will be a wonderful book. Also the quality of the book itself is first rate!

Hard to Follow I hate to leave a bad review ☹️ so I’m really sorry but as I was reading this I was thinking, ‘This is a little dry,’ and one night my son said to me, “Is this a Lamplighter book?” And I said, “Yeah, why? Do you think is boring?” He said, “Kind of…” And I said, “I KNOW, I thought the same thing!” we were both surprised and disappointed because we were very excited to get the book. We had only listened to Lamplighters free weekly dramatized book and LOVE that and thought the books would be equally exciting but no, not the case.. at least not this book. I have a really hard time reading this out loud to my kids because the characters talk different. Granted, we are not done with the book yet but I don’t know if it’s going to get any better 😕 unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be ordering another book.

An Entertaining Read With a Good Message. I got this book as a Christmas present for my sister and her family. She loved it. To use her words she said, “It was a really cute book and had plenty of funny parts to keep me entertained whilst also presenting a good message. I loved Peggy. She was hilarious, quite the preacher.” In conclusion, I am very satisfied that she enjoyed it.

Sweet and funny book Even though this is a book meant for younger children, I enjoyed it very much! It’s a quick read with a sweet main character and quite a bit of humor.

Another Favorite I’ve lost count on how many Lamplighter books we have. I was a little concerned when the 1st page had about 30 words that were defined. agen = again, ‘m = ma’am, perlite= polite. But I found the book charming and easy to read. Is Peggy a saint or a simpleton? You will have to find out for yourself! I would recommend this book!

Well written literary text, with great depiction of the era, bringing to light a story of character and humble heart in the main character highlighting her conviction and love of Jesus while sharing with all those around her. Wonderful What a wonderful story this was. I read it to my girls ages 6 & 9 and they loved it. It brought up great conversations about missionaries and that you can be one not having to travel at all. The girls and I really didn’t want the story to end. We all loved it very much.

Great Story! I heard the audio first, and the book is just as good! Peggy’s quirky humour makes me laugh, and the clear gospel message is much appreciated. Another great book from Lamplighter!

I bought this book for my 10-year-old little girl, and she loved it. We read it over the holidays, and we absolutely fell in love with Peggy. It is hard to adapt to the slang language at first, and you will have to read it with your younger child just so they can understand what they are saying, but all in all, the book represents a great example of what a true missionary is.
