Better Than the Book! I have always said that no movie or audio drama could beat the original book. It is time for me to eat those words. I read “The Boy of Mount Rhigi” and I enjoyed it very much. I proceeded to listen to the audio drama. I have to admit – this drama is even better than the book! This audio drama highlights the morals in this story perfectly and I like the ending better than the ending in the book. Don’t get me wrong – the book was excellent, but this audio drama is exceptional!

Oh My Goodness This drama had me in suspense as I listened to it the very night I got it. (I listened to it with 2 of my sisters!) It had my heart thumping, and I wasn’t breathing at times. Other parts I was crying, and other parts I was groaning “no no Clapham!”
First time in my life I can say: “This is the best audio drama I have ever listened to!”

Highly Recommended!!! This is a wonderful story of hope. So many of us are like Clapham who think that our past hurts or upbringing will dash any hopes of a better future. Harry, believed in Clapham and began to speak into his life. This caused Clapham to begin to believe that he could become a better person, worthy of Harry’s friendship. This story shows how a little love and acceptance can change someone’s life for the better. The Boy of Mount Rhigi is just as revelant today as it was in the 1800s. I can’t wait for my next audio and book!

The Boy of Mt. Rhigi Purchased the Boy of Mt. Rhigi audio drama for our boys (5,4,2) as a surprise for our 12 hour road trip home. I was floored with all the Biblical references and Christ-like moral references throughout the drama. This audio drama surpassed my expectations. Best of all, my boys absolutely loved it! We listened to it twice that day in the car and twice on our return trip home. I can’t WAIT to purchase the other titles for their Christmas presents. Audio dramas increase a child’s auditory processing, which we considered as part of our homeschool “curriculum.” The Boy of Mt. Rhigi mentions several of the Beatitudes. My four year old heard this and asked us what is a “peacemaker?” This provided a great opportunity to explain what a peacemaker is as well as how a peacemaker acts. If you are considering purchasing this audio drama, think no more, order it today! You will NOT be disappointed!

Absolutely Captivating! We have several Lamplighter audio CDs. We recently got this one and my kids (13,11,6) were captivated by it. The car was silent as they listened to the story; they were so anxious to hear how it would turn out.

Very Well Done! My 6 year old son loves this story and I love the opportunity to let him listen to character building stories. After he listened to this he started asking me questions like “do bad people pray?” and ” what is sin?”. Lamplighter stories open the doors to conversations that have eternal value!
