Highly Recommend. The lectures in this book have been so insightful, and I so enjoy watching the character of Christ being worked out in the lives of the characters of the book. Especially Isa Gritton. This has been a very insightful book.

Highly Recommend I would recommend reading this as a family, or youth group, great discussion, and an awesome story to go with it! I love watching the main character as she draws closer to Christ , it’s so lovely.

It weaves the history of Gideon and his victory over the Midianites together with the fictional characters who learn to apply these Biblical truths to their own lives. The reader, as well as the characters, learn to identify the “Midianites” in their own lives and conquer them through the power of faith and perseverance. Exceedingly great literature!!
