Wonderful Inspiration I really enjoyed diving into yet another Lamplighter adventure! I love how this book points out that the only way to conquer our besetting sins, is by turning to the One who has the power over sin, Jesus! I also appreciated the fact that this book clearly shows the disastrous results of allowing sin to have a place in our lives. Far too often I take sin too lightly, but when we turn to Christ, the freedom He gives us is life changing!

Wonderful Picture Of Self Examination The haunted chamber is a wonderful example of self examination. The characters are wonderfully drawn into the story and we love them for all their faults and because of their faults.

Highly Recommended!!!! I just finished reading this wonderful book and I was completely enthralled!! It was completely fascinating and I couldn’t put it down. I have read Ishmael and I almost can’t decide which is better (which speaks a lot 🙂 Can’t wait to hear the audio drama!!!!

My New Favorite Lamplighter! We have had the great privilege of reading many Lamplighter books over the years, but I think I found my new favorite. I could not put this book down! I saw myself (and my children!) in each and every character. What a challenge to my heart, faith & christian service. You won’t want to miss this most excellent read!

Highly Recommended!! I absolutely loved this story! It kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters drew me in as though they were real people that I knew. The only complaint is that I read it too fast! I have also read Ishmael (a MUST read) and would say this one comes in a close second. I would LOVE to read more like this and would prepay now for the audio drama!

Great book! This is one of my favorite books. It is a good, well balanced story with a clear Christian moral. It is interesting, yet not overly exciting, and presents truth in a thought provoking and interesting way.

Couldn’t Put It Down! I’ve read several Lamplighter books and this has been my favorite so far. I had a hard time putting it down! I loved the characters and the occasional clever humor (which I wasn’t expecting). I will remember this book for a long while. I look forward to reading more books by this author!

Sins of Commission and Omission I’ve liked all the Lamplighter books I’ve read. This is one of the best I’ve read so far. Seldom do stories show the sins of omission and how these sins affect others as much or more than sins of commission. Very well put together and enjoyable to read. 5 Plus Stars!

Enchanting Book! The Haunted Room introduces a timid girl Emmie, and her two very different brothers. This book has an awesome plot! The secret room and imposters make this book really cool!

Mark Was Right! Mark was right! This book was a good faith-building one! I was challenged to look deep – find the haunted rooms in my own heart and seek Him to bring them into the light. I could feel Emmy’s fear as she was left standing in the dark… Alone… (Shivers). A great read. Highly recommended!
