Boy of Mount Rhigi, The
$20.00
Besides fishing in the wooded hills of Mount Rhigi, Harry and Clapham have little in common. Harry can’t relate to the brutality that Clapham endures every day, which has molded his character and produced torment, frustration, and fear in his heart. Emotionally bankrupt, Clapham seeks love and acceptance from the Davises. But one sad day he is threatened to do the unthinkable. Dark days follow. And though sorrow endures for the night, the healing balm of truth brings joy in the morning. Experience heartbreaking betrayal and God's ultimate redemption in The Boy of Mount Rhigi.

One of my Favorites!!! This book is one of my favorite Lamplighter books! It’s one that’s hard to put down. It shows that there is no sin so great that the cross of Christ is not greater!

The Boy of Mount Rhigi I haven’t finished it yet. I like the way the author describes the two boys and how they became friends. It didn’t make any difference to them if one was rich or poor they helped each other out.

Nice Book First, I wouldn’t have guessed this story took place in the US from the title. Mount Rhigi is in the northeastern United States. Who knew? Not me. The one boy reminds me of Charles Ogilvie, one of my all-time favorite books from Lamplighter. The book encourages us to do the right thing regardless of our circumstances. Each boy struggles with their decisions. Which one overcomes. I won’t spoil the story with an answer here!
