Grace Jordan was the creator and executive producer of the original dramatic series, You Are There (Perfect Sound Production). Her love for God and her children, along with her knowledge of Scripture, propelled her forward to create an unforgettable and life-changing family experience. Now, decades later, Lamplighter Theatre brings this classic audio drama back to life for families around the world. Once you hear them you will understand why these dramas are titled You Are There!
HE IS NOT HERE, BUT HAS RISEN!
“I was deeply moved by your series and so were my children. Somehow we as a family participated in Easter week as if we were there. You Are There gave new meaning to Easter, stripping away tradition and preconception. We now understand Holy Week in a new and very special way.”

Slightly Dissapointed We enjoyed the whole layout of the story but were disappointed in the music. We found that it cheapened the whole message of the death and resurrection of Christ.

Heart Stirring The drama was very realistic! The details were Scripturally accurate and helped the listener to enter into the most probable environment surrounding the Events!!

Overall, Good Production. A Few Issues. First let me say, our family adores the original Christmas You Are There. It’s absolutely stunning. In light of that, we found this recording to be wanting. Many of the actors seemed to only be able to use their “angry” voices, even when the Biblical context clearly carried a different tone. (Take Pilate for example) It seemed that a lot of the “villains” of the story could only speak in an overly dramatic “caricature-villain” fashion rather than with interest. Acting needs a lot of work.
