Great Lesson in Christian Character! I learned so much from this story. The utter patience that Walter has with Dermitt is such a lesson in Christian character. Such mercy Walter shows for those who injure him in both body and mind. Loved the story!!

Fun Story We loved the story (this is true for nearly all of the Lamplighter stories).
Pros: clearly shows God’s sovereignty and our need to be light in our dark world. It also nicely shows the wiles and seduction of the world.
Cons: there were several instances of reading God’s will into circumstantial situations.
