When bricklayer Antonio is given a Bible by an unknown traveler, he determines to rid the world of the “dangerous book” once and for all. With three heavy blows from his hammer, he seals it behind brick and mortar, convinced he has buried its influence forever. Through a whirlwind of catastrophic, yet Providentially redemptive events, Antonio learns that the Word of God cannot be silenced.

In this powerful little story, you and your family will read about true events that reshaped a culture and transformed a secluded region of the Swiss Alps. Far deeper than the reshaping of geography and history, readers will discover the truth that just as God’s Word can change a culture, it can also change a bricked-up heart into a monument of His grace.
