Giant Killer It is a very good story and an eye opener. You just can’t beat Lamplighter Theatre stories. They are the best.

In The Top 10 List! First I have to say that I am a huge Lamplighter fan (at least for the audio series, I don’t have time to do a lot of reading) I have heard every audio that they have released and I always pre-order the new ones as soon as they come available! So, that being said, I have to say that this is already one of my favorites. I actually pre-ordered the physical version and there was a delay for the release, so they gave me the digital download for free! (which I really appreciated- I was very anxious to hear it!) I love the way the family in the story is reading the allegorical story, ‘The Giant Killer’ and between each chapter they have a opportunity to use what they learned about how to kill the giants in each of their lives. It is a great way for younger listeners, that are not as skilled in interpreting the allegory, to grasp the real meaning of the story. Overall, this is a great story line, is dramatized wonderfully, and defiantly goes in the top 10 list of best Lamplighter audio dramas! I would recommend this for any age group.

Rare reading brought to life! Tried to get into the audio storyline, however once I began to listen I was saddened at the amount of mystical and fairy dust that was being used to bring the listener to understand the spiritual connection in the drama, (breathing on the sword) it’s as always these programs have to get caught up in competition with the mystical nature of other new age books when I don’t feel that it is necessary at all.

Excellent!! An incredible story brought to life with this excellent dramatization.

Definitely Inspiring Our family has enjoyed all the dramatized audio theater books. Enjoyed this book because of the interchange between the book reading and the application in the lives of the readers. There are life lessons for all ages.

I Would Give it 10 Stars if I Could I read the book to my grandson (8), who LOVED it, and when I saw the dramatic audio version was coming available, I couldn’t wait to get it for him. I listened to it and was EXTREMELY impressed with the quality of this production. Although it doesn’t follow the book exactly, all the most important elements are there in spell-binding form, and the spiritual truths woven into the story are powerful, even for adults! (I’d recommend it for 8+ because those giants sound REALLY scary!)

Not For Younger Children This was well done but way to scary for younger children.

Great Listen Bad on Details. My name is Daniel and I’m 12 years old and I’ve loved Lamplighters and Lamplighter Theatre for as long as I can remember. I listened to almost every single one of your productions and have enjoyed almost every one! Though I had a couple of problems on this one.
I loved the giants voices and sound effects. They were all masterfully made. However, I’m disappointed that they dropped some characters from the story. I was not happy when there was only one boy Probyn named Constantine, and he stayed blind instead of being temporarily blinded like in the book. On top of that there was only one female Roby named Bertha. Other then that I loved all of Fides’s adventures, and the adventures at Dove’s Nest.
Thank you guys for all you do. Please keep them coming and God bless you!

Not My Favorite Lamplighter I have listened to all the Lamplighter audio dramas and love them all very much, but this one was sort of hard to follow and it seemed as if we were always reaching for the volume to turn it up or down. I appreciate the values portrayed, once again, but I would much rather listen to one of their other products. 🙂

Six Year Old Approved My six year old son really enjoyed this audio drama. He drew pictures of what he imagined each giant looked like and we talk about the giants when they show up at various times in his life.

Very Entertaining With Great Message This was a great story and very entertaining. My wife and I really enjoyed it as well as my 8 year old son. It might have been hard to understand for my 6 year old. We will definitely listen to it multiple times and get a new MP3 in the future.

Excellent Audio Version!! This is a wonderful audio drama and kept all of the family riveted until the end! Our youngest is 6 and was quite frightened of the giants. Their voices were pretty scary. But the message of the story stuck with all of our children and were reminding each other to fight of their own “giants” everyday. Highly recommend this!

Spiritually Awakening! My wife and listened to this and it helped us to recognize the tricks of the enemy, to rise and take up the sword of Fides and face the giants.

Fun Story and With Moral Lessons What a great story! 5-year old Cole loved it and has already listened more than once. The accents, swords crashing, music and sounds effects pull it together. He loved it and wants to hear it again. Wholesome, fun educational goodness. Here’s to our next generation of men of Godly character!

Excellent Excellent allegory about the Christian life – facing giants of sin we face and learning how to combat them with wisdom and the Word of God. I’ve already listened to it more than once.

Great Allegory My kids and I enjoy this so much. Great illustration! My 8 and 10 year old understood the story and they really like it. The giants’ voice scared my 5 year old a little though. Months after listening to it, my kids still remember and mention how much they’ve been enjoying it.

My Kids Love This One! We bought the Giant Killer audio drama for our daughters 7th birthday. She and her older siblings 11 & 14 loved it! They have already listened to it multiple times in the past two weeks. They’ve been asking about spending their own money to buy more audios.
