Candle In The Window The sound quality is top notch. The unfolding drama of the story is superb. Add this to your holiday tradition. Consider it an attempt to have a night of sitting around the “radio” for good wholesome family entertainment.

A Great Story! This is a great story and one that we will listen to many times. My children all immediately declared how much they liked it and that they would be applying some of these things to our home as a new tradition. They also shared that this story, more than others, allowed for them to feel like they knew the characters. Well done, Lamplighter crew!

A Great Heart Warming Story! Another beautiful drama to add to Lamplighter’s collection. I have not been let down by a Lamplighter audio drama yet and this certainly upholds the tradition. This story is such a beautiful Christmas tale and I would recommend it to anybody. I’m a teen who is very fond of Lamplighter Theatre and I believe that everyone, young and old, should get back to the beauty of story telling that Lamplighter provides.

Hoping For More! The story seems too convoluted, time layers on time layers. Could get a little confusing. The whole shifting perspectives probably could have been done a little better. The acting is wonderful, and the whole effect is delicious.

Snuggle Up! This is a snuggle up by the fire kind of family story–charming! My 12 year old dd says this is one of her favorites. She has listened to it repeatedly for the past three weeks since Christmas and likes the sweet characters. The 10 yo ds (who appreciated the main male characters) and 8 yo dd loved it as well.

Candle in the Window: Highly Recommened I really enjoyed Candle in the Window. I loved the imagery used of following the candle in the darkness to be saved physically as well as if we share the light of God and follow the light of God it is our way to be saved spiritually as well. It kept me engaged the whole time, I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next.

Candle in the Window Candle in the Window is another superb dramatization from Lamplighter. The plot is supreme, the characters are genuine, and the story is one of the absolute finest dramatization that Lamplighter has offered. This is a poignant illustration of a woman’s bitterness turned into unspeakable sweetness and a boy coming of age to be the example of Jesus to her.

Highly Recommended I absolutely love Lamplighter audio dramas, and a Candle in the Window is no exception!
I can’t really find the right words to express why I love them so much, but I’ll try to explain a little. The audio dramas are so well made, I don’t even realize I’m listening to a story because I’m taken right in. And the stories themselves are so captivating, wholesome, and thought provoking that I want to listen to more. They remind me of the brokenness of the world and of the grace of God. God’s ways are beautiful! I often cry out of thankfulness to God while listening to Lamplighter stories because they bring to light my regrets, my depravity, my fears, and my sufferings, but in such a way that I’m reminded of the healing and redemption in Christ Jesus.

Must Listen For All Ages This story moved our entire family. We always love Lamplighter Theatre, but this story really impacted all of us from the oldest to the youngest. This stands with Teddy’s Button as the two best theatre productions.

Gospel and Patriotism and Christmas This story has three of my favorite things, the Gospel, Patriotism and Christmas. I appreciate how the prelude/postlude story with Finnian Jones sets and accentuates the caring heart of this story, Candle In The Window. Caring, consideration and sacrifice run all through this heartwarming story. I enjoyed it so much that I wished it was a bit longer.

Enjoyable! Sometimes the story within a story within a story got a bit confusing for the kids to follow, but listening to it alone first helped me to be able to keep them oriented when they heard it for the first time. Definitely one we’ll listen to again!
