For The Boys What do you do when you and your family are wronged and you lose everything to war? Revenge is a likely option if you have the chance! Now what if you’re a Christian? There is a lot of fighting and intrigue and resolve in this short 144 page book. Hard to give any Lamplighter book less than 5 stars but I would recommend Joseph’s Shield and a few others before this. Still a nice book, though.

Not Your Usual Lamplighter Quality. An ok read for younger children. However, it is more like a history book than a story in that it lacks an emotional connection with the hero, Kurt. Not a bad read per say, but not what I’ve come to expect from a Lamplighter book.
