Captivating This was my first time trying out some books from the scratch and dent list. I was very happy to find that the damage is very minor, and on some I can’t even find it! It makes it easy for someone who can’t afford the full price of the books to be able to get them at a discount and still enjoy the excellence of these books.
Trusty Finds a Friend is a very fun book that includes rhythm and rhyme that keeps my child captivated as we read it together. He also really enjoyed looking at the illustrations. The book teaches a good lesson about friendship and serving others. My son has developmental disabilities and some books will hold his attention very well, while others he is quickly done with. I didn’t know how he would do with this Trusty book, but he ended up really loving it due to the fun illustrations and the rhythm and rhyme of the text. We will definitely be getting him more Trusty books.
