The Wanderer Excellent story overall, but the idea that you should never leave home goes against the spirit of exploration and even missionary work. However, faithfulness to God and family are powerful lessons of this story.

Recommend I would have enjoyed it more if there had been a bit more of his actual experience in Africa. This was probably one of the few books I have read that had more of what the character is thinking and feeling than what is going on in the life of the character. His transformation was great but….

Highly Recommend I really enjoyed this book, what really stuck out to me was the father’s love for his son, even after all he did, he still wanted him to come home. And still our Heavenly Father is all the more willing to welcome us , more than any earthly father could, for his love is perfect

One of the best books I’ve read! What an incredible story! You will be drawn into the life of David Aspinall as he finds himself in a spiritual and physical wilderness that leads to his personal discovery of true freedom and blessing. The chapters of this book parallel Psalm 32 and the application of scripture to the life of the main character is masterfully done. This story clearly illustrates that each of us must chose between being led by our own selfish desires or submitting to the Lord and walking by faith. Each chapter is compelling and the story flows very well with lots of adventures and insights! This is a wonderful book that you whole family will enjoy!

Favorite I like A.L.O.E books and this is my favorite of the three I have. It is wonderfully written and has a great message.

Excellent Book I read this in one sitting since it’s not very long, but it deeply touched me with the clear lessons it taught of the Christian life. It was accurate and filled with Bible passages and a story where the main character studied Psalm 32. The whole story was woven around Psalm 32 in a intriguing fashion. But the story was both exciting and focused on the Bible. I was deeply inspired by the author and I intend to find more of her work.
