Highly Recommended Loved this book! I usually read the Lamplighter books aloud to my children but this one was for me. Easy to read and each chapter leaves you wanting to read just one more before lights out! Highly recommend. As always the scripture references throughout the story are right on time and make you reflect on your own life and relationships. 👍🏻

Should Have Been a Series! I love Lamplighter Books! I am 16 and my mom cannot order these books fast enough. I really enjoyed this book, so much that I wished they would have made a series. It brings out a range of emotion, sadness, joy, heartbreak, excitement, etc. I was glad to see a book that reminds me to be thankful and show gratitude and respect for my dad because his care for me is invaluable.

A Must Read It has been a pleasure to read this book. From chapter to chapter a new twist took place when I thought I had the plot figured out. This resulted in not wanting to put the book down! I loved how the author infused the truth of God into the story and how it became known to individuals in different ways. It has been a great purchase and I look forward to future books. Great! I loved this book! I have bought and read many Lamplighter books and this is one of my favorites. The relationship between the main characters was so good and it clearly taught the way to accept Jesus and get into the “Lifeboat.” The title may be misleading, because the story isn’t an action-packed mystery, rather it is about a husband and wife and their relationship with action infused in it. It is both a sweet and serious book.

Best Yet! The Treasue of the Secret Cove was a highly interesting book. The plot sent thrills through me and I could not put it down! It was my favorite Lamplighter book that I have read. I recommend this to anyone who loves mystery, drama and excitement. An awesome book!

Good But Not Satisfying This book came highly recommended to me, but did not live up to the expectations of my friend. The book presented the message of salvation excellently, which impressed me. But the reason I bought it was because of what I had been told it said about marriage. What characters taught in the book about marriage was very good, but that wasn’t something I felt the main married characters portrayed. As both a married woman and a writer myself I found it disappointing. When it came to marriage I don’t believe the book lived up to its full potential.

Good Title For This Book Excellent read. A little archaic in language due to year written but overall a great read. Good character development and kept you guessing what would happen next in the plot. I would recommend this book.

Highly Recommended Enjoyed reading the book after listening to the audio a couple times. I had to re-listen to the audio as it is a bit different in places from the book. I love how Una and Cuthberg’s journey to Christ is weaved in the story.

Very Interesting This book was very interesting and definitely had good ups and downs in the story. For awhile it is hard to know what you think of the characters and may misread them, but as you go on you see more from their perspective and get wrapped up in the plot wondering what will happen and when other characters will discover what has been already reveled to you. Though the plot is not as intense or large as Ishmael or The Hidden Hand it is still a good story that excites ones imagination and makes them think.

Beautifully Bound and Gripping Story I have been listening to some the audios online and I have been mesmerized. Every chapter has left me surprised and wanting more. I have yet to read the book though as it just arrived. It is our first Lamplighter book and it is beautifully bound and designed, and worthy to be given and kept like a family heirloom.
