Trusty is back! But instead of listening to the warning of Papá Engineer, Trusty chooses the path that looks easy and fun. Little does he know that what lies ahead is a break down and a crash. Why didn’t he listen? Will he ever get back on track?

Little children understand how hard it is to listen and obey. The wonderful illustrations will reach their tender hearts as they join Trusty once again!

Highly Recommended This story lets little ones see perfectly what can happen when we choose to ignore that still small voice, but also illustrates beautifully the grace and mercy that can be found.

Wonderful Book This book was truly a delight for my 4 year old train lover, as well as my 6 year old and myself. I loved the lesson it instilled through a character my children loved.

Perfect For A 3 Year Old Our 3 year old grandson is already acquainted with Trusty, having received one of the books in this series for his 2nd birthday. He’s already hooked on the train theme, and he really enjoys the rhyming. Trusty Gets Off Track was perfect for his 3rd birthday, as he has begun to reason within himself why negative consequences follow a wrong decision. I love that Trusty is rescued by Papa Engineer when Trusty has been naughty. A perfect picture of how God forgives us with acceptance and complete love when we confess our mistake and look for forgiveness. Three is a perfect age for this story line.

Good Story, But Lacking in Illustrations. Got this book for my 3 year old son who loves books. He liked it, but didn’t love it. The story itself is good, we found the illustrations to be rather odd for a children’s book. They are very small, lacking color, and almost abstract in their presentation. They don’t really help to pull you into the story at all. My 3 & 5 year old weren’t super impressed. Just our opinion – we read a LOT of books so this just seemed bland in comparison.

My Son’s Favorite Trusty Book My son absolutely loves this book, this is his 3rd Trusty book and his favorite so far. He even talks about himself needing to listen and not getting off track, it’s so cute. He is 4 yrs old and will be a Lamplighter lifelong learner!

Trusty Gets Off Track Seemed over priced for the content, Was a beautiful analogy to the Lord’s forgiveness
