Recommend A great picture book for young girls ages 8 and up. One to read over and over again.

The Three Weavers This is the first illustrated book we have purchased from Lamplighter and the quality is every bit as nice as the other books. Our daughter loved the story and our sons did too.

The Three Weavers Such valuable lessons for Fathers and Daughters! I loved how this book shows the importance of daughters looking to their fathers for wisdom, allowing fathers to chart a course for them towards marriage.
Centering on that important dialogue that MUST be present within a Father/Daughter relationship.
It’s so vital for Fathers to have that unique role with their daughters, and hold up a standard for any young man who thinks he might be the one.

Unexpected Treasure! I should not have been so surprised at the quality of the story as well as the book itself and illustrations. Every book from Lamplighter has been an amazing treasure!
The Three Weavers came in the mail via the automatic shipment program and I was disappointed because I was expecting a different title. ( due to my own mistake) But God knew just what we needed and when, as He always does.
The Three Weavers is a beautiful tale of fathers and daughters. As a mom, I often unintentionally focus on ways to reenforce my maternal relationship with the kids, and sadly the paternal relationship often gets overlooked due to the stresses and demands of everyday life. This book is an excellent bonding story for fathers and daughters to share. It is also a great illustration for fathers to look to when it may sometimes seem easier to let our children do what makes them happy, instead of what our Heavenly Father has in mind for us.

Print (font style) Too Small !!! Great story! Loved it!
One big negative is that the print on the page is very small and the font is a very thin handwriting type. My husband struggled to read it and had to hold it up close to his face. The illustrations are beautiful but also small. There is plenty of room on the large pages for the print and the illustrations to be larger. Disappointed in this aspect as the flow of reading was choppy due to trying to read the print.(even with reader glasses on)

The Three Weavers This book was purchased for our Pastor, who loves Lamplighter books. It is beautifully illustrated, and the story really lends itself
to discussion between fathers and daughters. It is worth every cent! The gift evoked great exclamations of joy from our Pastor, and it is now one of his special treasures.

Buy This Book For You and Get SEVERAL Extra!! I just happened upon this title as it came up in my monthly Lamplighter subscription a few years ago. I was in tears the first time I read the story as It was all the things I now wish my father had explained to me when I was young. Sadly in my life I related more to the unwise weavers.
I am SO grateful our family and my husband can read this to our young girls and we can utilize this story as a tool to help instill positive virtues not only in our girls, but also for our sons to look for the virtuous weavers as well.

I have purchased this book many times over as friends will thumb through our library and many just can’t believe how beautiful a story this is. They ask to borrow the book, and of course I just tell them to keep it. I now give these books out as Christmas or Birthday presents to many young families we know and everyone is so touched and moved by the story, illustrations and how it all points to God’s value of our precious little girls.
So many people are used to getting the “mainstream” Princess books or merchandise that when they receive this book, the effect is truly convicting.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough!!!

Inspiring The Weavers’ take was very inspiring. I love the imagery that stays with the reader long afterwards. It leaves a lovely ambition in a girl’s heart and helps her see the value of not only waiting for the right husband, but also listening to a wise father. Fathers too can gain wisdom from the examples in this story.

PERFECTION Got this book for Daddy to give our girlies (6 & 8). They requested for this book to be read OVER & OVER at bedtime. It’s a beautiful allegory of how to keep purity. It will be one to be passed down for sure.
